9 year old Molly's story

Because of YOU, Minnesota Sheltie Rescue was able to help me when I was brought to animal control. I was so sad and confused. After a dental and senior veterinary care, grooming, and lots of TLC in foster care, I am now dearly loved in my forever home. I have my own bed and blankie, and my favorite room is the kitchen! Your donation made this possible!

14 year old Rose's story

What happens to a 13 year old deaf Sheltie when her owner passes away? Fortunately for me, MN Sheltie Rescue knows that love has no age limit, and there are wonderful people who WANT to adopt a senior! MNSR provides mature ladies like me with thorough veterinary care to treat or manage health issues. Your support today makes that possible! Please help MNSR help more seniors like me. My forever family got me an orthopedic bed for my 14th barkday, so I know I’m loved here (even if my Sheltie brofur does try to steal my bed)!

Tanzee and her 5 pups

Tanzee and her 5 babies came to MNSR from a South Dakota Reservation. Mom and pups all required veterinary care totaling $1905.78. Thanks to your donations and our dedicated foster homes, this little family got a great start! Will you help us to be there for more dogs who need us? After her babies successfully flew the nest to join loving families, Tanzee also found her perfect forever home! It has been fun to get updates and watch them grow!

14 year old Maggie's story

I lost my home and family when they had to move to assisted living. Did you know that MN Sheltie Rescue has foster families who care for older dogs with health issues? I am in the Special Needs Care program with a wonderful couple who have lots of time and love for a special girl like me and the care I require. Please help us to maximize today's matching funds to help more Shelties like Maggie with ongoing health needs.
