After a ruff start at a puppy mill, little Smurphy Murphy’s story went from rags to riches, joining a loving Sheltie family that included two Sheltie brothers. Murphy was a joyful little girl who loved to go for walks with mom, barking, prancing and spinning the whole way. Although not a lap dog, Murphy loved affection on her terms, enjoying a good ear scratch or muzzle rub. Smurphy Murphy gained her angel wings on December 27th, 2020, just shy of her 16th birthday. I've never experienced the kind of bond that comes from a traumatized dog who learns to love and trust a human. I will forever miss my itty bitty pretty.
