Rusty

Sweet Rusty was nursed back to health by his foster family after gallbladder surgery while in rescue. Once healthy and strong, he found the perfect forever retirement home with a lovely lady who was committed to maintaining his slim and trim figure through daily walks.

Angel

Our sweet Angel crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Saturday. She came to us as a foster on February 22, 2012. She was 7 years old. When she was placed in my arms, we knew she was here to stay. It was such a joy to watch her blossom from a shy little girl to the first one to greet a guest, waiting to be noticed. She was a tiny Sheltie, but she had all of us in her little paw. She was a diva who ruled our other dogs, and was the first one to the bedroom each night. She wanted to be sure to be the first one to our bed.

Sheena

After her special spa day, Sheena moved in with her new mom! They are exploring beautiful walking trails together and Sheena can stretch her long "Shollie" legs in her big fenced yard! Thank you to our friends at Minnesota Wisconsin Collie Rescue for connecting us with Sheena's mom, a previous MWCR adopter! Adopted 3/21/20.

The Minnesota Sheltie Rescue Reunion scheduled for April 11, 2020 has been cancelled.

We are sad to have to announce the cancellation of the Sheltie Reunion this year following the recommendation of the Minnesota Department of Health. We're disappointed but it is the right thing to do for the health and safety of all our adopters, fosters, volunteers, supporters and vendors.

We do not have plans to reschedule the Reunion at this time, but we are thinking about a possible play date sometime this summer.

We are still planning our Fall event at a new venue- The Urban Growler, scheduled for Saturday, October 3rd.
