Rainbow Bridge Memories

This page is dedicated in loving memory to the MNSR foster and adopted Shelties who are waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge.

Rainbow Bridge Stories

He was ‘Lord Sinclare, Earl of Scalloway (Scally) to us’, ‘Mr. Scally’ to his groomer Oxana, ‘Wags’ to his travel caregiver Nan, 'Criss (Cross)’ to his foster mom Lynn. Despite requesting he give up an old quirk to replace a newly acquired one, he kept a collection of them all - from side eye and weak pillow skills to only accepting bro kisses and shaking off any girl germs, he was one of a kind.

Sam

Sam was gentle and sweet. He never caused any trouble except as a typical Sheltie, he loved to bark. He was a little stinker though as he would eat things he shouldn't. My little boy, Sam, has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge and is now with his best buddy, his sister Lilly. He was 15 years and 7 months old. He lived longer than any other Sheltie I have had. It is so hard to lose a family member but I have lots of memories of him.

Sippi was a once in a lifetime dog. She was a joy and she will always be in my heart. She took a part of my soul with her.

Harper was ours – or more accurately, we belonged to her. And now she is running somewhere with the other dogs we’ve had - Shelby, Cajun, Dice, Charlotte and Kody. After a long and winding road since last fall – we unexpectedly had to choose to let her go on January 17. The stoic little sheltie had so many problems and challenges, and we just wanted her to be without pain. Harper was the only dog we had that howled.
