Emmylou

Emmylou got a new name to go with her new home! Her family now consists of a human brother, feline and canine siblings (including MNSR alum Jambo), plus mom and dad are veterinarians to give her the most excellent care. Emmylou's family is active in agility so we're excited for her future possibilities! Adopted January, 2019. Thank you to Heart of a BorderCollie Rescue and LightShine Canine for rescuing Emmylou and her mom and siblings off the reservation so they could find homes via MNSR.

Maggie

Maggie became a wonderful mentor to many MNSR foster Shelties upon her adoption in 2006. It is with a heavy heart that I post that Maggie went to the rainbow bridge on January 9th, 2019. She will be forever missed and loved - one of my all-time favorite dogs. She was almost 14 years old, and we so enjoyed her love and playful antics.

Jesse

Jesse is so lucky to have found his forever home with a nice mom, teen girls and a kitty friend too!  He's a spunky boy who loves to play with his toys. He now has a very safe fenced yard and he can look forward to lots of play time inside and outside, and cuddle time with the girls. Adopted 1/5/19.

Kay T.

Kay T. was the perfect fit for her new mom, a great companion on long walks and plenty of snuggling. "We had the best final days together and she got to eat pork, steak, and chicken. On January 4th, 2019 it warmed up to the 40’s and sunny that day so we had a KFC picnic on the bed with the windows open and nice breeze. On the way to the clinic, we stopped by a rest stop where there was still patches of loose snow, so she got to roll around in it one last time while it was sunny. She died peacefully in my arms lying on her original adoption blanket.
