Success Stories

These lucky dogs have found their forever families.

Harper is a beautiful but very shy Sheltie who needed a home that would understand her and give her time to come around. Her patient adopters have a very calm home and also adopted MNSR Kody just a short time before adopting Harper. We're counting on Kody, along with Harper's new mom and dad, to help her come out of her shell. Adopted 2/6/16.

When Izzy arrived at her new home, she was greeted by her new mom and dad, two friendly cats, and 7 1/2 year old Caroline who couldn't wait to show Izzy her room, which she was hoping she would share with Izzy. Izzy is a fun loving dog who loves to run and play and she'll get to do that every day with Caroline. Her home has a fully fenced yard for her to play and run around to her heart's content. Izzy's new family is committed to helping her continue to get to a healthy weight so there will also be lots of walks...another thing Izzy loves to do! Aodpted 1/8/16.

Kody rang in the new year by moving to his forever home with a loving couple who previously adopted MNSR Charlotte (now at the Rainbow Bridge). Kody's new mom and dad are so happy to welcome him to their home and he's already making Sheltie angels in the snow in his beautiful fenced back yard. Thanks to Kody's foster mom, he's now a pretty good leash walker and he'll get to go for plenty of nice walks throughout his new neighborhood. Happy 2016 Kody! Adopted 1/1/16.

Josey gets to be an 'only' in her new home with an adopter who will giver her lots of love and attention - the perfect home for Josey! She has already managed to bunch up a blanket and make a bed for herself on the sofa. Josey's new mom works at a nearby care center and plans are in the works to take her to meet the residents there once she has settled in. Josey waited a long time for the right person to come along and her wait has finally paid off! Adopted 12/11/15.
