Don't Miss It - - The Sheltie Reunion is coming up on April 13, 2019!

Adopters, Fosters, Volunteers and all MNSR Friends and Supporters are invited to attend the 2019 Sheltie Reunion on Saturday, April 13th from 11:30am to 3:00pm in NE Minneapolis.

We'll have lunch, merchandise for sale, vendors, exhibitors, and of course the Silent Auction. We'll be selling raffle tickets to win a handmade themed quilt (see Jeanne's blog below).

You and your Sheltie can participate in the Sheltie games (peanut butter lick-off and more!) to win medals and prizes. We will again have the Sheltie parade so you can show off your Sheltie and share your Sheltie's success story with all of our attendees.

If you want to bring a crate for your dog, there is a quiet area that will allow him/her to rest while you eat and browse the Silent Auction.

Events and Vendors - Lunch, Sheltie Games, Silent Auction, Raffle, Sheltie Parade, MNSR/Sheltie Merchandise, Rolling Rover Bistro Dog Treats, Sheltie Selfie Area, Groomer Nail Trims, Dog Massage, Dog Behaviorist, Reiki demo, and more. 

Photos for Sheltie Posters - We are making posters with your adopted Sheltie and Sheltie wannabe photos to display at the Reunion. If you want to have your dog's picture included on the poster, please send an email with a photo to Mel at melspetpals@gmail.com. Please include your dog's name and the year adopted. Send one picture per dog, it does not need to be a professional photo. The deadline to submit photos is April 1.

Silent Auction Donations - We truly appreciate donations for the Silent Auction. Create a basket or bring a single item. Donated items must be new. Baseball/sports tickets, concert tickets or other events, gift cards, and theme baskets are some suggestions. You can bring a basket the day of the event (need by 11:30) or you can arrange to drop items off in advance at Bell Manufacturing in NE Minneapolis. Please provide the value of your donation. We generally start minimum bids at 50% of the value.

Volunteers Needed - If you would like to volunteer an hour or two of your time at the event, we have a variety of areas where we can use help, including food set-up, serving, Silent Auction, Games, Photo area, Registration/Greeting and other areas. It's a great way to meet other MNSR adopters and supporters. We also need help before and after the event.

Leashes Required - Just a reminder, all dogs must be on leashes at all times, inside and outside the building. Please do not use retractable leashes. Please be aware of what your dog is doing wile you are there. There are clean-up stations located in several areas.
