Eight years ago, I asked MNSR if we could foster the next Sheltie/Pom. The very next week, we met with Peanut’s owner and learned that he was 7 years old, not house broke, and strong willed. The owner had contacted other rescues but they couldn’t take him. We were his last hope before going to an overcrowded shelter. We loaded him in the car inside his crate. He got out & climbed in my lap.

Bo is our first adoption of 2021! When his foster family heard that someone in their community could no longer care for her Sheltie, they invited Bo to come stay with them. They fell in love with Bo’s easygoing and sweet temperament and Bo now joins MNSR alumni Copper and Winslow as part of the Gator’s Grilled Cheese Emporium restaurant management in Ely, MN!
