Frankie

Shelties have a special way of knowing who needs them, sometimes before we even realize it. Frankie sensed that his family needed love and smiles and laughter, and he is more than ready to entertain them with his funny antics. You chose a great family, Frankie! Adopted March 1st, 2021.

Peanut

Eight years ago, I asked MNSR if we could foster the next Sheltie/Pom. The very next week, we met with Peanut’s owner and learned that he was 7 years old, not house broke, and strong willed. The owner had contacted other rescues but they couldn’t take him. We were his last hope before going to an overcrowded shelter. We loaded him in the car inside his crate. He got out & climbed in my lap.

Maggie

Maggie came into rescue at the age of 12 when her people had to move to assisted living. She joined our permanent foster program, where she was cherished by her foster family for 3 wonderful years. Maggie crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 15 1/2 on February 1st, 2021 and is very missed by her foster family for whom she was their constant companion.

Bo

Bo is our first adoption of 2021! When his foster family heard that someone in their community could no longer care for her Sheltie, they invited Bo to come stay with them. They fell in love with Bo’s easygoing and sweet temperament and Bo now joins MNSR alumni Copper and Winslow as part of the Gator’s Grilled Cheese Emporium restaurant management in Ely, MN! Adopted 1/20/2021.
