These lucky dogs have found their forever families.
  Shelby looks forward to enjoying this North Shore view every day with her Sheltie brother Tukker and her wonderful moms who seek out seniors and dogs with special needs! Thanks to MNSR supporters who helped with her medical costs, Shelby is feeling MUCH better after many vet visits, diagnostics, and surgery to remove a bladder mass. “She was happy to hear that she officially belongs here! We really enjoy her, and her behavior is a 180 from when she came. We love to hear her Sheltie bark as she protects her land.” Adopted 5/17/21. |
 The final member of the Washington7 is home! When 25 Shelties were rescued in Washington in December 2019, 7 Shelties came to MNSR. Jonas has bonded with mom & dad and his new bestie, an English Bulldog named Meatloaf! Jonas is enjoying walks, and has discovered the human bed is a great place to be. He is very happy and loved. Adopted 5/10/2021. |
    Brandy’s happily ever after was guided by two special MNSR Sheltie angels, Becca and Zapper. Brandy came into rescue the same day that almost 17 year old Becca gained her angel wings. Brandy’s adoption day coincides with what would have been Zapper’s 16th birthday. Extraordinarily fearful, Brandy constantly shook at the beginning, and still does when her safe bubble tilts, but Zapper and Becca are shining gentle light on her path and she has made huge strides.   Shelties have a special way of knowing who needs them, sometimes before we even realize it. Frankie sensed that his family needed love and smiles and laughter, and he is more than ready to entertain them with his funny antics. You chose a great family, Frankie! Adopted March 1st, 2021. |
